On 7th July 2008 UNESCO agreed to designate the area around Carriden House as a world heritage site, lying as it does on the eastern end of the Roman Antonine Wall.
Carriden House is our family run 3-star guest house. The house lies in a quiet rural location overlooking the River Forth, only 25 minutes from Edinburgh and close to main road and rail links.
We have spacious en-suite bedrooms available throughout the year.
Rooms cost £35 - £40 per person per night including breakfast.
The house lies within 5 acres of gardens, with over 20 acres of mature woodland alongside the river. We have ample free parking.
Guests can unwind in our tranquil drawing room and in winter relax beside the open log fire.
Carriden House is classified as a Category A listed building by Historic Scotland.
